3DP Unlimited is partnering with PBC Linear to exhibit and demonstrate the 3DP1000, a large-format 3D printer at the 2015 Automation Technology Expo (ATX) West show, held on February 10 - 12, at the Anaheim Convention Center, California. The 3DP1000 is an open-platform, large-format 3D printer with a print area 74x larger than the average desktop printer. The 3DP1000 utilizes lead screw driven SIMO Series linear actuators from PBC Linear, which enable industrial strength and high precision grade 3D printing over the large build area of 1 meter x 1 meter x 0.5 meter.
